Marco Carvalho is the Blockchain Lead at Celfocus, where he founded and built the company's blockchain practice from the ground up. His mission is to help enterprises unlock the real business value of blockchain, moving beyond the hype and into solutions that actually matter.

With a background spanning Data & Analytics, Marco brings a rare combination of technical depth and business fluency to the table. He leads from architecture and R&D to delivery and pre-sales, with a particular focus on shaping blockchain ideas into tangible, high-impact solutions. Outside of Celfocus, Marco coordinates the Post-Graduation programme in "Web3, Blockchain and AI" at IPAM - Universidade Europeia, where he helps shape the next generation of blockchain and Web3 practitioners.
