Ondřej Kovarik is a former Czech Member of the European Parliament. He was a member of the Economic and Monetary Affairs committee, and member of the negotiating team for MiCA and Transfer of Funds regulations.

He was also on the transport, budget and civil liberties committees. His portfolio included work on practical applications of new technologies, such as those based on blockchain or artificial intelligence, and broader access and use of digital finance for businesses and consumers.

His career to date has been dedicated to public service, primarily in various roles within the Czech civil service, but also in European public administration.
