As a co-founder and CEO of Acumen Research Labs, I am passionate about leveraging Web3 and decentralization to deliver real-world social good from emerging technologies. With over 25 years of experience in international business, technology, and innovation, I have co-led a global community of researchers and experts in Web3 to develop solutions for global challenges, such as climate change, health, and education.

Also a co-founder of the Portuguese Blockchain Alliance, a platform that brings together companies, academia, and government entities to foster knowledge and collaboration on blockchain. I have advised several governments and organizations on digital transformation, green ICT, and renewable energy. I hold executive certificates in strategy and innovation from MIT and IMD, and a green belt in Six Sigma. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and French, and have published a Gartner report on the future scenarios of information and technology in society.
