Sylvia Sanchez is Project Manager at Ava Labs and content creator at the Avalanche Policy Coalition, the educational initiative developed by the Ava Labs Legal team focusing on blockchain fundamentals and policy. She hosts The Policy Layer podcast, talking directly with policymakers worldwide, academics, developers, and creative entrepreneurs in Web3.

Sylvia is a Colombian-American Economist trained in financial markets and blockchain applications. Prior to joining Ava Labs, she founded her own blockchain learning platform in Spanish and grew a social media presence for Women in Web3. She also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in the Community Development team, focusing on the digital divide.

Sylvia is passionate about merging the technical side with creative storytelling to continue to educate people on emerging technologies.
